titleLoad Plan

Use this screen to View and Edit your Manifests.

  • When your Deliveries are ready for Despatch, they can be added to a Manifest

  • The manifest is assigned to a Driver, who will then Deliver the goods.

  • Whilst it is possible to create new Manifests using this screen, it is advised that this screen is only used for Editing existing Manifests and that you use Depot Plan for Creating New Manifests.

  • Save & Finalise button to and make the current Manifest ready to be downloaded to your EPODs (If your organisation uses them).

    • Only click this button if you do not wish to make any further changes to the Manifest then you can click Save and Finalise.

    • This will then print the Driver Load Sheet and make the Manifest available to the Driver to download onto an EPOD Device (if you use them).

Note

It is strongly recommended that once you have clicked the Save and Finalise button you do not make any further changes to the Manifest as those changes may not get passed on to the EPOD.

  • Cost

    • If the transport item ‘Single Drops only’ is true, then the user must enter costs in the 'Deliveries' grid

    • If the driver doesn't have 'Single Drops only' ticked, then the user will not be forced to enter any costs when finalising a manifest.

    • Otherwise, the user can use either the header field or the deliveries field is auto calculated. So if the user enters the cost against the load, then calculate the cost for the deliveries, if the user enters the cost for the deliveries, then the load cost should be calculated.

  • You can Cancel a manifest (even if it is Saved and Finalised but prior to being downloaded on to an EPOD or Confirmed Delivered) from the main menu Maintenance\Cancel Manifest.

    • The Deliveries on the Manifest will be released back to the list of Outstanding Deliveries

titleDepot Plan

When your Deliveries are ready for Despatch, they can be added to a manifest which is assigned to a Transport Item, who will then Deliver the Goods.

  • You can create multiple Manifests and create them in advance of the Delivery Date

  • When you first open the screen, you will need to select a Depot that you wish to create Manifests for.

  • You can filter your results if you do not wish to bring back all outstanding Deliveries. (By default all filters and all areas will be selected)

  • The Deliveries are colour coded depending on the type of Delivery it is (see below screenshot for the colours and types).

Note

Take care if clicking the Finalise All button, as it will Finalise ALL Manifests On ALL tabs, not just the tab you are currently on

This list shows available Deliveries based on the filter settings you set.
You can either add the Deliveries to an existing Manifest or create a new one. If you create a new one, it will add it to the Today+1 tab.

  • To add a Delivery to a Manifest, you select the Delivery you wish to add, and drag and drop it into the Manifest you wish to add it to. If the Delivery has been added correctly it will disappear from the list of delivery's and show within the Manifest when you click the expand '>' button.

  • If you wish to Remove a Delivery from a Manifest before Finalising it, you just drag and drop it from the Manifest back into the outstanding Delivery's Grid. Ensure your mouse is on the UID number when you drag and drop it across.

  • If you feel you may need to make further changes to the Manifest before Finalising, you can just click on Save, which will Record any changes you have made but will not Finalise the Manifest.

  • Once you are happy that no more changes will be made to the Manifest then you can Finalise it, which will then send it to the EPOD (if you are using EPODs), and create the relevant paperwork.

    • (Although it is possible, no changes should be made to a Manifest once it is Finalised).
