On this tab, you will be able to view the available products with details. A product translation matrix is stored for customers on their respective screens. The customer can enter their own product code and Shelf Life Days, the rest is read-only.This page is used to provide you with the ability to link from your product codes to the codes your customers will use when placing an order
When should this be used
Only where your customer is using their own product codes then you can opt to enter the translation from your customer code to your own product code.

Customers Product Code
The Store your customer's own product codes can now be stored and these are visible and available to search by during SOP creation. SOPs communicated to the warehouse now contain the customer's own product code which the warehouse output this information on delivery notes etc. The customer's product code is now also available (max 50 characters) and then search and use them whilst entering a new sales order during the SOP process.
An additional field is also transmitted to your warehouse in the Vision EDI standard XML output, this can then be used by your warehouse to add to the delivery note (You need to ensure your delivery note template with your warehouse is able to accomodate this additional field)
Within Commerce the customers' own product code will be shown on sales invoice templates alongside the company's product code.

Shelf Life Days
Sales order customers require specific BBD shelf lives on stocks which vary from the Warehouse system default. The Warehouse default will be used unless overridden by the customer-specific product shelf life fields given on this product screen, which is communicated to the warehouse system during order submissionThere are times where your default shelf life needs to be adjusted for a specific customer, where this is the case you can enter an alternative shelf life days for the product within this template.
Communication with the warehouse through the Vision EDI Order XML will include an additional field designed to alter the warehouse calculation for the product rotation being used for the order.
Where this is not sent the product default shelf life will be used.
