Has Delivery Point Pricing

If this is selected then the customer will use the special delivery point pricing option.

Fuel Surcharge

Set the specific fuel surcharge for the customer, this charge is applicable to the delivery element of the charge and not the additional charges.

Override Charge Band

This allows you to over ride a specific charge band to an alternative charge band.

This is old functionality and we would suggest you look at Customer Charge Band before using this option.

If you are using this for a delivery service such as “HOME” delivery to use “HOME1” charges.

POD Email

Email address used when sending a Proof Of Delivery.

Has Pallet Pricing

Consider this as “Uses” pallet pricing.

If the depot has this configured and the consignment is deemed to be within the pallet pricing definition then it will only use pallet pricing if the customer is enabled here to utilise that pricing matrix.

Is Part Pallet Charging

Will this customer be allowed the discounts for half and quarter pallets in the charging, this is applicable only for orders of less than one full pallet.

If you want this customer to receive part pallet discounts different to the standard for the delivery area then you set this here, it applies to all delivery areas.

Use Pallet Delivery Depot from

If you want this customer to switch to pallet depot option at a different Invoice Case number to the one on the delivery area. This applies to all delivery areas.

Use Pallet Charge band from

If you want this customer to switch to pallet charging rate at a different Invoice Case number to the one on the delivery area. This applies to all delivery areas.

Customer Defaults

  • Click the Add Carrier button to show the External Carrier screen and add a Carrier to this Organisation.

  • Buttons at the bottom of the screen:

    • Click the Add Carrier button to add the currently select External Carrier details to your Customer or to Record any changes you made. 

    • Click the Close button to Close this screen without Adding the External Carrier details to your Customer or discard andy any changes you have made.

  • Details Section: 

    • Click the button with the inverted triangle and select an External Carrier from the list.

      • It is not possible to add new Carriers in the Vision Distribution application yourself.

        • If you want to add new Carriers please contact the Vision Support Team.

    • Click the button with the inverted triangle and select a Default Service Code for the Carrier selected above.

    • Click the button with the inverted triangle and select a Default Account Name to use with the Carrier selected above.

    • Choose the Standard Parcel Size.

    • Check the Total Bottles on Label if you want Delivery Labels to include the Total number of Bottles on a Delivery.

      • Un-check this field if you do not want the Total number of Bottles to show on the labels.

  • Pallet Options. This section will be greyed grayed out (inaccessible) and all fields reset to zero or un-checked unless the Is Special Rate Options Active field (see the Charges Settings Section above) is checked.

  • Check Has Pallet Pricing to set the current Customer to use Pallet pricing only.

    • Checking this field makes the other fields in this section accessible.

    • Un-check this fields if you want set the current Customer to use the standard Case and Pallet pricing options.

      • Un-checking this field will make the other fields in this section inaccesible inaccessible (greyed grayed out).

  • Check the Is Part Pallet Charging field if you want the system to calculate Transport Charge discounts for 1/4 and 1/2 Pallet loads.

    • Un-check this field if you do not want to offer this Customer discounts for Part Pallet loads.

  • Enter the percentage discount off the standard Transport charge into the Half Pallet Discount % field when the Delivery is less than 1/2 a Pallet load but more than a 1/4 Pallet load.

  • Enter the percentage discount off the standard Transport charge into the Quarter Pallet Discount % field when the Delivery is less than 1/4 a Pallet load but more than the number of Cases in the Use Pallet Charge From field (see below).

  • Once the number of Cases on the Delivery equals the number of Cases in the Use pallet delivery depot from field the system will start using the Pallet Depot rather than the Case Depot for this Customer.

  • Once the number of Cases on the Delivery equals the number of Cases in the Use pallet charge band from field the system will start using the Pallet Charge Band rather than the Case Charge Band for this Customer.

Additional Charges

Automated Charges

This is where you can over ride override automated charges for the customer, by marking as not applicable or you can modify the standard charge to something specific you have agreed with the customer.

These charges are defined in the Depot setup.

User Defined Charges

These are over rides of will override the standard charges which are manually added to a delivery, if you have agreed a rate with your customer which is DIFFERENT to the standard rate then you can over ride override it here.

In addition you can make this charge no applicable for this the customer.

e.g. You want to charge a same day delivery charge but this customer has an arrangement to allow this but not pay for it.
