Currency

This screen allows you to create and edit Currencies that will be used throughout Vision Commerce

  • If you buy currency in advance - Set the system exchange rate to the rate purchased, then change the rate when all the purchased Currency has been used up.

  • If you buy Currency as and when needed - Set the system exchange rate on a regular basis as an average.

  • When a currency is Edited, a message will be posted to Sage if the Vision to Sage service is running.

  • The currency sign will be used throughout Vision Commence and on your documentation and reports

If linked with your accounts system, ensure that the ISO code in this screen match exactly with the accounts system to avoid failures during the posting process, also ensure that the exchange rates in both systems match if required.
