Transporter

Use this screen to Create a new or Edit an existing Transport Company.

Open

• The ID field is a unique identification number that will be generated for this Transport Company the first time the Save button is clicked.

• Transport Name

  • The name of the Transport Company.

• Archived

  • Tick this option if you want to stop using the Transporter

• Goods in Transit Insurance Expires

  • The Insurance expiry date

• Date Approved For Haulage

  • The Date the Transport Company was approved.

Exports Details

• Transport Extract

  • Include Total Charge

  • Export Road Runner

  • Export Standard

  • Export GIS

  • Export Email Address - The Email Address which is emailed to.

• Automated manifest printing 

  • Send Manifest PDF? - When the job is finalised the service will poll the manifests and send the information (manifest) as a pdf to the email address if this has been ticked

  • PDF Email Address - The email address that it will send the information to.

Costs details

• Select one of the three costing radio buttons:

  • All loads are individually priced - all costs could be different and they should be recorded individually for each manifest.

  • A fixed vehicle charge applies - the charge for a vehicle is always the same and is entered into the value in the field to the right.

    • The value field is write-protected until this option is selected.

  • Costs based on % of income - prices are set based - the charge for the vehicle is based on a percentage of the value we have charged to the Customer and that percentage is entered in the Value field to the right.

    • The value field is write-protected until this option is selected.

Address

The address of the Transport company.

Carriage Restrictions

This is where we can add ristrictions by Product Group and Product Types, which will stop these goods being transported by the company.
