A problem code is recorded against a specific line on a delivery consignment

 

You can use this code at the point where you are confirming the delivery which is carried out through

  • EPOD device

  • Distribution application

Remember

To make the item available on the ePOD you need to tick the check box shown.

Options

Send Issue email - this is ePOD functionality where we send a message to the customer through email or SMS that there has been an issue with the delivery and the reason code provided.

VW Return - if this is ticked then the item will be returned to the warehouse, and this will be shown in the internal receipts form on the warehouse goods inwards (this may not be configured on your system)

Where do you see this information

The reason code can be seen on

  • Consignment information

  • Notifications to customers (requires ePOD)

  • Delivery Confirmation data (required EDI)

  • Customer Invoice for Delivery charges

  • Reprint of electronic POD (coming 2023)
