This tab is used to show the Customer Analysis Codes you have set against the Customer and other important settings for picking/despatches

 

Customer Analysis is from the Analysis Code that has been set up

  • To change Analysis, you will need to go to the Analysis Code Maintenance

Customer Features, this includes configuration options specific to the customer

  • VCIS Default Access to Private Site sets a Customer to log automatically into the Private version of the Vision CIS website if your company is offering this service.

  • SSCCs are Serial Shipping Container Codes.

Picking Order Options

Unless changed, the default Picking Order for a Customer is FIFO

You can over-ride the picking routine by specifically entering a rotation number, all checks are ignored when you are specifically asking for a rotation other than whether those goods can be part of the order. e.g. Sending duty unstamped goods is not permissible on a duty paid order.

Duty Deferred Orders

Where you are not paying the duty yourself and your customer is paying the duty then then system will choose underbond stock for any duty paid order.

Other Options

The picking options are also used in conjunction with the site setup for locations. This setting defines whether pick locations are used before other locations when you specify PICK locations come first then the FIFO rule is ignored and the stock in the pick location is taken first.

It is always assumed that you are filling the pick location with the oldest stocks or duty paid returns.

FIFO = First in First Out - oldest rotation will be used before the newer rotations.

FIFO

Will pick oldest stock before newer stocks.

In an excise warehouse when sending stock duty paid this means duty paid stock oldest to newest followed by underbond stock oldest to newest.

CFIFO

When ordering cases, it will pick full cases first oldest to newest, should there be single items available those are ignored initially until there are not enough cases to complete the order.

PFIFO

When ordering pallets, it will pick full pallets first oldest to newest rotation, should there be cases or bottles those are ignored initially until there is not enough pallets to complete the order then it will take anything to fulfil the order

PCFIFO

A combination of the above two options. Will check for full pallets to fulfil the order before looking for complete cases before using the single items.

Location & Batch

This picking method is no longer in use.

 

Despatch Notes

  • This will allow the user to be able to print the Product Note and Special Message.
