Transport

This is used for both incoming as well as outbound transporters and stores information/contacts of each transport company which could be used.

This information is shared between all customers in the system as generally, you find they all use the same transporters.

This screen is used to create, edit or view a Transporter (Haulier) account.

Transport Details:

On this tab, we can enter the Transport details including name, type, address, and contact.

There are a number of options shown on the screen for the Transport Type dropdown field.

Option	Use

Option	Use
Shipper	Shown in pre-advices and goods out. For goods out this changes some codes on the output paperwork or e-submission.
Haulier	Shown in pre-advices and goods out Bookings can be made only for hauliers. For goods out this changes some codes on the output paperwork or e-submission
Direct	Used for automated options, not required unless your warehouse need to record this.
Return	Used for automated options, not required unless your warehouse need to record this.
Collection	Used for automated options, not required unless your warehouse need to record this.

Some information on the form is used for under bond order transporters which are known as “bonded transporters” who also require movement guarantees to move the stocks without the payment of duties

The following information is ONLY required if you intend to use this transporter for OUTBOUND movements which are for underbond.

Most of the drop-down options are self-explanatory.

This contains a list of the individual contacts for the transport entry, if you intend to use the outputs or the booking reminder function then an email address is required.

Contact Outputs (Button) →

There is functionality in the system that when this transporter is selected for goods outwards and goods are then pick confirmed, the transporter will receive a copy of the delivery note, this has been designed to provide the transporter additional information for underbond deliveries.

Simply tick the option for the contact you have chosen to edit.
