BI Reporting is used to create bespoke reports tailored for your Company's needs | ||
Licensing | ||

There are two different licenses modes for this application - Reporter or Designer. | ||
Reporter - Use existing reports and have new reports written by Vision team without the need for an application release. | ||
Designer is the Advanced mode - create your own reports directly from the data. | ||
User access | ||
User permissions to enquiries and reports, and report designer users are all controlled from the BI Report User Maintenance. | ||

To Add a New Report. | Clicking this button will open a new window, only report designer users have this option. See below. | |
To Edit a Report | Only report designer users have this option. | |

To View the Report | Clicking this button will open a new window. See below. | |
To Print the Report | This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Export the Report into a CSV Format | Clicking this button will open the Report in a CSV Format. This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Export the Report into a Excel Format. | Clicking this button will open the Report in a Excel Format. This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Export the Report into PDF Format. | Clicking this button will open the Report in a PDF Format. This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Search for a specific report. | Starting typing the Report Name, the specific Report will show in results area. | |
To Refresh the list. | Clicking this button will Refresh the window, for example if another user has created a new report while you've been browsing reports, clicking this button will refresh your list to show the new report added. |
NB:- The text is in grey this means it's a standard Vision report which cannot be modified. The text is in blue this means a user has created the report.
If you would like to filter the report there is a filter by each field.
By ticking this box you will add the report to your favourites list. All favourites are moved to the top of the list under a 'Favourites' heading allowing you to easily find your most commonly used reports which is particularly useful when you have a long report list.
Add Button Window Section:-
Give the report a name and put it in a category.
If you want to edit the available categories then click the pencil icon.
You can edit the report name and the category prior to uploading your changes.

These Arrows will allow the User to Navigate through the Report on the Main Report Window:

Go To First Page | Clicking this button will take the User to the First Page of the Report |
Go To Previous Page | Clicking this button will take the User to the Previous Page of the Report |
Go To Next Page | Clicking this button will take the User to the Next Page of the Report |
Go To Last Page | Clicking this button will take the User to the Last Page of the Report |

Clicking this button will bring up the Find Text Screen. This can be used to look for Specific Text String in the Main Report.

Find What | Enter the information you would like to search for. |
Find Next | Click this button to find the next occurrence of the values entered in the Find What field (if there is one). |

Clicking this button will display a context menu that will give you 11 different Zoom options for the Main Report Window:-

Page Width | This Zoom option will fit the Report page Width Wise on the Main Report window |
Whole Page | This Zoom option will fit the Report page Entirely on the Main Report window |
400% | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 400% |
300% | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 300% |
200% | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 200% |
150% | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 150% |
100%` | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 100% |
75% | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 75% |
50% | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 50% |
25% | This Zoom option will Set the Zoom on the Report to be 25% |
Customize | This Zoom option will allow the User to enter a Custom Zoom Value between 25% and 400% |
