Licensing |

There are two different licenses modes for this application - Reporter or Designer. |
Reporter - Use existing reports and have new reports written by Vision team without the need for an application release. |
Designer is the Advanced mode - create your own reports directly from the data. |
User access |
User permissions to enquiries and reports, and report designer users are all controlled from the BI Report User Maintenance. |

To Print the Report | This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Export the Report into a CSV Format | Clicking this button will open the Report in a CSV Format. This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Export the Report into a Excel Format. | Clicking this button will open the Report in a Excel Format. This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Export the Report into PDF Format. | Clicking this button will open the Report in a PDF Format. This option is only available if the selected report has no parameters, otherwise the 'View' option must be used and then this option can be used from the report viewer window. | |
To Expand all of the different types of Report Groups that you may have set up for example: Goods Out, Goods In etc. | ||
To Collapse all of the different types of Report Groups that you may have set up for example: Goods Out, Goods In etc | ||
To Search for a specific report. | Starting typing the Report Name, the specific Report will show in results area. | |
To Refresh the list. | Clicking this button will Refresh the window, for example if another user has created a new report while you've been browsing reports, clicking this button will refresh your list to show the new report added. |

NB:- The text is in grey this means it's a standard Vision report which cannot be modified. The text is in blue this means a user has created the report. |

Report | Here will show the different report names, these are grouped under their categories. | If you would like to filter the report there is a filter by each field. |
Creator | Here will show who created the report. 'System' are standard Vision reports. | If you would like to filter the report there is a filter by each field. |
Favourites | By ticking this box you will add the report to your favourites list. All favourites are moved to the top of the list under a 'Favourites' heading allowing you to easily find your most commonly used reports which is particularly useful when you have a long report list.

Step 1 | Clicking the blue text will open the report designer application allowing you to create your report and save it to a location on your PC. | |
Step 2 | After creating and saving your report, tell us where you saved it by clicking the blue folder icon to the right of this field. | |
Step 3 | Give the report a name and put it in a category. If you want to edit the available categories then click the pencil icon. | |
Upload | Clicking this button will Upload your new Report to the Vision Business Intelligence database. | |
Close | Clicking this button will Close the window. |

Share Button Window Section:- |

When creating a report, it is auto shared with the author, from this window you can select the other users/groups to share the report with after uploading. |

Type users to share | Enter the Users that you would like to Share this Report with. | Begin typing their name / username and the application will guess which user you want to add, hit enter or click to select. These are the users set up in the application you launched the BI application from. |

PicksConfirmedSince: | This is one of the parameters set up for launching this particular report | When creating the reports you have the option of setting the report up with various parameters. These parameters allow the users to input data for running the report, a data from, a date range for example, a customer code even. Reports are not limited to a single parameter, all parameters set up against the report are shown in this top section and may be required for the user to manually enter prior to loading the report (depending on how the report author created the report). |
Preview | This will Refresh the Report | Clicking on Preview Button this will Refresh the Report. |

Toggle Parameter Pane | Clicking this button will Toggle the Parameter Pane (the Pane along the left hand side of the window) On or Off. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Navigation Arrows | These Arrows will allow the User to Navigate through the Report on the Main Report Window:

Current Page/Total Page | This section consists of 2 Fields, the first field on the left will show the Current Page and can be modified by the User to show whichever Page they choose. The second field on the right is the Total Page and will show the Total Number of Pages that are on the generated Report. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Find Text Screen | Clicking this button will bring up the Find Text Screen. This can be used to look for Specific Text String in the Main Report.
