Following the installation of Vision Flex on your device, if this is the first time you've used the device on your system it will need to be added as a registered device before you can use it.

- Start your device and open the Vision Flex application
- On the login screen, open the settings screen by pressing the cog symbol
- Take a note of the 'Device ID' shown
- In Vision Warehousing, open Admin > User Management > 'Flex Devices'

- Give the device a name, perhaps an asset tag number visible on the device, or the name of the user (only if it's dedicated to a single user).
- Enter that 'Device ID' from above
- Tick the 'Active' box
- Tick 'Voice Enabled' if users are allowed to use the Flex Voice features on this device (a headset with speaker and microphone are highly recommended)
- Click Save
- Your device is now ready to be used
Set up a Flex user
- Log in to Vision Warehousing
- Open Admin > User Management > Flex User Maintenance
- Create a user account
- UID is the 'Username' the users will use to log in to the application
- User Full Name is the full name of the user
- Password should be numerics to allow easy logon with voice
- Operations access is yet to be defined
- Management access is yet to be defined
- Active must be ticked to allow the user to log in
- Click Save
- You are now ready to log in with the user account
