Contacts are setup for notification purposes and notification with customers utilises sending emails to them for specific purposes.
In addition you can also setup the contact to receive the scheduled Vision EDI output which are sent via email to the customer.

EDI Reports
Vision EDI generated reports are sent to the email addresses configured here.
Vision EDI generated reports are available on the pop up EDI Reports maintenance form which is opened when you press EDI REPORTS.
You are configuring which reports are being sent to the individual contact using the matrix.

Email Others
There are other new notifications which can be setup to inform customer contacts of specific events, the list in this window will continue to expand as new features are added.
In order for the contract to be notified they need to have a tick against the notification ID they want to receive information about and then you save the record
Invoicing

Tick the ‘Email’ button if the contact should receive all invoicing emails. If there are different contacts that you want to receive different invoice emails, use the ‘Specify’ button instead.
Pressing specify will bring up the following Invoicing options:
All of these 5 options must be ticked in order for the invoices to email. These do not all have to be set under the same customer contact, however, and can be spread across multiple. Only activating 1-4 of these 5 options will turn off the print option against the customer in Vision Invoicing if you have these apps linked. Re-enabling all 5 options will also re enable print against the Vision Invoicing customer.
System integration
If your customer integrates their own system (such as Vision Commerce) electronically with Vision using the file method (not API), you can setup a dummy contact account to receive the information.
