There is a MAJOR benefit to using the application to log a support ticket, it shows us where you are in the system and what you were doing at the time of logging along with providing us with a screenshot. |

Navigation Options (Right

side)
The Navigation bar situated on the right side of the screen will allow you to perform
...
quick searches for important data. If you can’t find the navigation bar, then go to the Warehousing icon and click the ‘Show Navigation Bar’ in the ‘Search Options’.
In the navigation bar, the items are listed in groups of Processing, Stock, Customers, Invoicing, Maintenance, and System Data.
To expand the group double-click on each group. The items are shown in the order of frequent usage. At the bottom of the list are the Admin and Configuration items which are rarely used

When you click an item you will see the search grid, where you can enter details, see the Navigation tab for further details on how to search.

The navigation and filter options sit on top of each other on the right-hand side of the screen, these are quick searches and are used to access data quickly as well as being used within forms to provide results for entries into the form.
...
On the Navigation Panel, simply click on the category you wish to search.
The panel will switch to the Filter Options showing the available filter fields for your search.
...
...
You may also be directed to the filter options directly from a F11 or F12 search request from a form, the example shows the purchase order form.
...
The filter options will provide you with the fields you can use to search.
At this point, you could simply hit search (which is the same as the F11 option in a form) and it will provide you with the first 500 results only.
...
. Just open by double-clicking on the result.
...
The results grid is specific to the screen which provided the search result, so if you are searching for products within an order and leave the order the result grid will remain but will not be of any further use as the order is closed now. So it is best to maintain a clean desktop and close the result grids often.
Info |
---|
If you pressed the Search button, without entering any value in the Filter Option fields, then you will be presented with all the records related to the item you selected on Navigation bar. For example, If you clicked Pre-Advice in the Navigation bar, and clicked the Search button, the result grid will show all the pre-advice saved in the system. The more fields you fill in the Filter bar, the more specific will be the result. |

Tip |

Wild characters in searching are the * and ? keys, for example BLU* will return anything beginning with BLU *BLU will return anything with BLU at the end. using * on both sides of BLU will return anything with BLU within the text. Using the ? means any single character e.g. Glen Morang?? is any character in each of the ? |
Click the search button, which will reveal the

result grid at the bottom

...
.
Otherwise, you will have to use the search results to select the result you want to view, this usually opens the maintenance form.
Not all results have the ability to open a further page, e.g. Stock results just show the stock results as there is no further click through but a customer would open the customer maintenance forms.

Once you have finished with the results be sure to clean up and close the results by pressing the X on the top right corner |
...
