title | What levels of Validation exist in Vision EDI? |

The incoming files are checked before they are imported into Vision EDI. If there are any issues with the file itself (duplicate of the previous file, incorrect file format, etc) the file itself will fail (a message posted in EDI) and the file will be moved to the failed folder.
Once the File has passed validation the Sales or Purchase Orders contained within the file are checked. If there is an issue with any Order in the file, the order will show in Validation Failures in EDI. From Validation Failures, you can correct any issues and re-submit to repeat the validation process with the changes you have made.
Once an order has passed, the lines on that order will be checked. If there is an issue with any line in the file, the order will show in Validation Failures in EDI. From Validation Failures, you can correct any issues and re-submit to repeat the validation process with the changes you have made.
See the Process and Response page for more information on validation.

title | How do I tell whether a Pre-Advice should show on the Intrastat Report or not? |
---|

Please see the following grid for the 5 conditions used to determine the results for this report (if there are not results the report will not generate). The stock attributes for each product is compared against all the columns. If a line meets all of the criteria in a row then it will show on the report.
For example if a stock record is True for Is Free Circulation and Country When Consigned is EU Country but the the others are all False then the line will show.
(Please Note: Every row checks for Is Free Circulation = True - therefore if Is Free Circulation is False the line will not show on the report regardless of any other matches).
| Outbound Movement | Inbound Movement | Is Free Circulation | Country Whence Consigned Code Is ‘GB’ | Country Whence Consigned is EU Country | Underbond Type Is 'C' (Customs Duty Payment Only) | Has Owner Changed in UK | Excise Duty Paid In UK | Product Type is 'Innocent' | Are goods Picked | Delivery Type is 'PUR - Purchased Goods | Destination Country Code is ‘GB’ | Destination Country is EU Country |
