Ordering Deadlines
When connected with Vision Warehousing the ordering deadlines are used when placing orders into warehousing, these only effect entries which are not marked as COLLECTIONS within Vision warehousing.
There are three types of orders which are defined below :
Manual Orders - those entered directly and manually into Vision Warehousing
Vision EDI Orders - those received through EDI
Vision CIS Orders - those send from the CIS system
Process
Based on the customer code on the order we initially check to see if there is a specific time for the customers deadline, if this does not exist we look at the Delivery Area for the order which is based on postcode lookup and how the order reached the system, if there are no times setup then we look at the standard deadlines within the delivery category which is based on postcode and order input method.
Specific Customer Deadline (delivery category)
Delivery Area cut off times (delivery area)
Standard cut off deadlines (delivery category)
If the deadline is missed the the pick date will move to the next pick date as defined on the warehouse system

Standard Deadlines
This is the ultimate fall back and the only place you need to enter deadlines if you have a single source site, if no times are specified then any order entered during the day will default to be picked the same day with a delivery date expected of the following day.
Specific Customer Deadlines
If you are using deadlines for receiving orders you can set a deadline for a specific customers orders reaching the system and processed as the current day.
If the deadline is missed the the pick date will move to the next pick date as defined on the warehouse system
