This is the new home for internal transfers within the warehouse A future consideration to group/bulk pick similar orders is being considered and we need feedback to find the level of customer interest in this. |
All transfers, which require input from warehouse personnel, will be show shown in the Transfer Admin
Transfers which do not require a new rotation OR a move in the existing site OR a delivery note will progress automatically as long as providing the auto receipt options are switched onON.
If moving SITE → SITE then the options are in the Site Admin table
If moving WAREHOUSE → WAREHOUSE then the options are in the warehouse setup (same site)
The requirements for the order are set at the time of order entry, changes made after this will NOT effect those already with the settings recorded.
New Rotation
This will require a new rotation therefore a new rotation label can be printed and affixed before sending the goods during the picking process.

It is now possible to send goods from site to site retaining the original rotation from the sending site. This only works between two sites and needs to be correctly setup before using. The option is found in the Site Admin settings. |
Move
This order required the stock to be moved either in the current warehouse where the sending and receiving customers default locations are different . [(there is an option to ignore this difference in the site Site settings]).
Delivery Note
This is applicable for any goods moving from site to site where a delivery note and potentially an ARC is required for the goods to be moving site to site.
If the order requires

Then the order will have been processed at the point of entry and the tranfer transfer will be complete and it will not show in this area.
The Tab Options
Tab | Use |

Future | Transfer orders which are not due to be picked today or earlier, anything . Anything in the future has a pick date in advance. |
Awaiting Pick | These items are waiting to be picked. |
In Progress | Items which have been picked will appear here, and it allows you to reprint OR print the picking note. |
Pick Confirm | Items where they have been picked AND the pick notes printed will appear on this tab waiting for the confirmation the pick has been complete. |
Future
There is an option to SAVE on the tab which allows you to update the order pick date and press the SAVE option which could move it from the Future tab to the Awaiting Pick tab.
Awaiting Pick
Select the lines you wish to PICK at this point, you can use the CTRL or SHIFT key whichever suits your needs.
When you press pick you will be presented with a summary of the orders and you can then print the label (either internal or intrasite) and the picking note can also be printed.

If you want to pick the items but NOT print the labels or notes, this is also possible the . The item will PICK the stocks and make it ready for the note to be printed when your warehouse staff need the next note, and it can speed up the process when printing as you will then be printing an already picked order. If you choose not to print the order - will only appear in the IN PROGRESS option. If you print - it will appear in both tabs IN PROGRESS and PICK CONFIRM |
When you pass this point the item will move into the In Progress tab
Label Quantity Calculation
The system will use the site settings for the label calculations and will work:
1 label for each case up to x X cases and then y Y for each pallet.
e.g. 1 label for each case upto , up to 16 cases then 4 for each pallet thereafter.
Single Items items will receive only receive 1 label no matter how many there are as the assumption is that you would put them one label regardless of quantity, as it is assumed they will be placed into a carton or box.
You can modify the quantity of labels by expanding the line and adjusting the Label Qty field.
Transfer Note

In Progress
The In Progress shows all items which are in progress, it will only show PICK STARTED if using FLEX for picking or if the PICKING NOTE has been printed
If you are missing the labels or the transfer note you can print from this form.

Flex Picking
If you are FLEX picking the order, the highlighted icon will be available, this . This will return the pick to manual pick mode and away from the FLEX device.
You should use this carefully.
Pick Confirm
Allows you to confirm the picking of the goods and it will also generate any delivery note if applicable for the order. This could be subject to customs requirements for additional information.
The Confirm pick button requires you to select the lines you want to confirm pick.
