We offer data import options to help you get started, data can come from your existing system or from spreadsheets or we can always obtain some of it from your warehouse.
Due to the level of analysis fields, you may have to enhance your import to include a basic level of analysis for each customer or product.
The costs associated with data take on are only applicable if you have data which you want imported into the system when you start, if you are a new company then you could start with a blank sheet, but if you have been trading for a while then there is always an element of data take on, whether it is just your customers or products or everything, we usually discuss this at the discovery process.
An explanation of the different charges is shown below:
Build Import
| Preparing the data output from your system. If we are involved in obtaining data from your system or you are supplying raw data from your system then we would charge for this level of import work, this also included building the logic imports and then importing into the system. This also usually involves two imports of your data as we have no idea whether we will get it right first time. In general this method of importing will take somewhere between 20-40 working days to complete. |
Logic Import | We will provide import files in excel format which the customer completes as much as they can. If you supply all the fields then we would not charge this, we would begin at Direct Import. |
Direct Import | This imports the completed initial import files with any modifications needed in the previous stage. If a customer is supplying this then there can be no modifications, changes or alterations the customer has to get it correct or correct the import file to make it correct. If we have to start correcting the data at all then we would have to increase the costs to include this. |

|
Additional Imports | If we import the data and then the customer provides us more data to import as long as there are no changes to the logic / direct import then this would be the additional charge. |
Subsequent Changes | If we have to alter the import routines after the initial import then we would charge for the time take to carry out this work |
