The warehouse layout is a graphical intepretation of the warehouse, and based on pre-defined colours it will show you the following:

Data View Selection

Description of what this does

% Filled

Based on 9litre equivalent cases

There is a plan to change this measurement if there is enough customers wishing to use this with different UOM

Pick Quantity Hotspots

where you pick the largest quantities

Location Pick Visit Hotspots

locations where you visit a lot for picking (irrespective of quantity)

Non Moving Stocks

items which are in stock but are not ordered frequently

%Filled is a live indicator or the location, all others are based on historical movements of stock which is updated dail.

Opening this option will allow you access to the main form.

When you open this form it may take a few seconds depending on the warehouse you have chosen as the system needs to obtain stock levels, so please be patient.

Select the warehouse you wish to view.

The view above shows an overhead view of the warehouse (as if you are above the warehouse looking down).

 Explanation of the main display

The white box in the bottom left of the Warehouse Diagram allows you to navigate around the warehouse, within this area :

  • The red box inside the white one shows the area currently being displayed in the Warehouse Diagram. 

  • Click the left mouse button anywhere in the white box to centre the red box and update the zoomed-in view.

  • Click and hold the left mouse button and drag the red box anywhere in the white box to update the zoomed-in view.

The main screen then showns a blown up area of the area you have highlighted on the bottom left corner.

 Selection Options Available

Warehouse Selector - pick a warehouse

Loction Search - specify an individual location

Customer Search - specify a customer (used for non moving and hotspots usually)

When you click an aisle we then change the view to a view from the ground looking at the aisle

You can see above we have 5 high rack location followed by 5 further single high locations.

If you then click again on any of the locations you will then be shown the contents of the location

If at any point you wish to return just use the BACK button on the bottom of the window.

Setup of the Location Overview

Initially this is dynamic when it sets up your locations, but you can adjust the map to look like a real warehouse, showing aisles and gaps.

To set up your Warehouse Diagrams see the Layout - Warehouse Diagram Admin screen.
