Following the installation of Vision Flex on your device, if this is the first time you've used the device on your system it will need to be added as a registered device before you can use it.

Registering your device

  1. Start your device and open the Vision Flex application

  2. On the login screen, open the settings screen by pressing the cog symbol 

  3. Take a note of the 'Device ID' shown

  4. In Vision Warehousing, open Admin > User Management > 'Flex Devices' 

    1. Give the device a name, perhaps an asset tag number visible on the device, or the name of the user (only if it's dedicated to a single user).

    2. Enter that 'Device ID' from above

    3. Tick the 'Active' box

    4. Tick 'Voice Enabled' if users are allowed to use the Flex Voice features on this device (a headset with speaker and microphone are highly recommended)

    5. Click Save

  5. Your device is now ready to be used


Set up a Flex user

  1. Log in to Vision Warehousing

  2. Open Admin > User Management > Flex User Maintenance

  3. Create a user account

    1. UID is the 'Username' the users will use to log in to the application

    2. User Full Name is the full name of the user

    3. Password should be numerics to allow easy logon with voice

    4. Active must be ticked to allow the user to log in

    5. More information available in Configuration Menu 

  4. Click Save

  5. You are now ready to log in with the user account
