Alternate warehouse sales allow the operator to check stock levels in other warehouses and sell from those, the operator is given a number of options for the delivery of those goods.

This option is only available when the sales account has been changed to the customer’s own in the sales entry screen.

‘Alternate Stock Warehouses’ first need to be setup in Commerce, see https://visionsoftware.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VC/pages/2716499969/Initial+setup#Alternate-Stock-Warehouses.

After adding a product to the sale the operator is informed if it’s not in stock in the current warehouse. Pressing the item displays the quantity editor screen with a button to allow you to check for stock in the alternate warehouses and specify where the stock should come from.
