Switching from Email to API

Existing senders of XML format need to carry out some basic tests to ensure that API will work for their incoming XML transmissions. Further details of this can be found in Stage 3 testing mentioned below

The process is

• Log a ticket to editest@visionsuite.co.uk requesting your API username and password. You will need to supply

  • Warehouse Company Name

  • Stock Holding Customer Account Code

  • The Site code for your site (2 characters)

• We then will check your existing incoming orders which we would be receiving on email, and we are looking that you are achieving a 95% success rate or higher with those orders. This means we will be looking at log files and notification emails being sent to you ensuring that you have been minimising any issues and we have no long standing or unaddressed issues.

• Once this is checked and everything is good to test you will be set to TEST mode and you need to send test transmissions, when you have succesfully sent a few days worth of test transmissions let us know.

• We will review those tests and if everything is good we will agree with you to set the flag to LIVE
