Dynamic Product Code Administration

You might have used the Dynamic Product Code option in the Creation section of the Stock menu to generate the product code. The criteria and the value fields with which the product code is generated are derived from this Dynamic Product Code Administration option in the System Settings section of the System menu.

Here you can set up a Dynamic Product Code structure.

You can structure the product code in the order you want. If you would like to generate a product code with the country code coming first, then producer second, and Singles Per case third- you can select the Part 1 field as Country, then Part 2 as Producer, then Singles Per Case as Part 3. You can give any values from the dropdown menu in your preferred order.

Setup Code for Pack /Single Size

If you are including Singles Per Case(Pack Size) or Single Size as part of your dynamic product code structure, please note the following:

• You can add new Pack/Single Sizes and edit the existing ones.

• When you generate a dynamic product code with Pack/ Single Size part in the structure, the product code shows the respective code given to each value. For example, you are giving part 1 as country Andorra(AD), Part 2 as Single size 0.75000 Litre(E), and Part 3 as Singles Per Case 12(M) - Then the Product Code you get when you click Generate button will be ADEM.

Set up Product Number/ Vintage Length

You can set the length of Product Number and Vintage using the dropdown field values.

You can set a maximum of 6 digits for the Product number and 4 digits for the Vintage.
