Delivery Point

This is the delivery point, essentially where the consignment is being delivered to. Information on this form is either entered manually within Distribution or if you are linked to an external system such as Vision WMS then this will be populated for you.

Delivery Address

If you are entering deliveries into Distribution directly then you can save delivery addresses on the system, if you do so then the first field Delivery Code can be used to retrieve a saved delivery address

After the initial insertion of the delivery from the WMS no further updates take place, if something changes involving the address you will need to update the Distribution session manually

Booking Required / Specific Times are NOT required on any order and are optionally used.

This contains the booking contact information which is a valid EDI entry field.

Delivery Contact

This contains the delivery point contact information.

ePOD Options

If you are using the services of Distribution including ePOD then you will have access to further live information for customers which includes

automated sending of delivery infromation through email / whatsapp / sms
the use of the security pin number for high value deliveries
the tracking dashboard showing the last know location of all your vehicles
customer tracking and live chat facilities (coming soon)
