The screens available from this menu assist with the processing of Deliveries and the Management of External Carriers.

The three menu options take you to the same form providing direct access to some of the tabs on the menus.

Waiting Consignment Submission

This section will show all the Consignments that are waiting for submission to the carrier, if you are using the parcel carrier module connected to the WMS then there should be minimal items in this section other than re-delivery and manual deliveries as the WMS handles the request consignment functionality.

Process Control Options

Change to depot Delivery - If there is a Delivery in the list you no longer wish to send to the Carrier, but should now be a normal Depot Delivery, highlight it and click on the Depot Delivery button and it will set the Delivery back to a normal Depot delivery for you.

Select All - this will select all the consignments in this screen.

Reset Selection - this will reset and deselect the consignment that you have already selected.

Collection Date and Time - This will allow you to select the collection date and time (it defaults to the current date and time when opening the screen).

Send Selected To Carrier - This is used if you just want to send some of the delivery’s shown to the External Carrier. Select all the Delivery’s that you want to send and click the ‘Send Selected To Carrier’ Button. This will send them to the currently selected External Carrier. This could either be by sending them straight to the carrier, or it will send them to a file in a specified location to be processed later. (To select individual Deliveries, hold down the CTRL (Control) key and click on the button to the left of each line. To deselect a Delivery Click the button on the left of the Delivery line again while holding the CTRL key down).

Process Carrier Response - This allows you to process a response file from an External Carrier. It will also show any unsuccessful deliveries. Each Delivery will come with an error message which is shown on this screen in the right-hand column. Once the delivery error has been corrected, the delivery can be selected and then resubmit on this screen using the buttons in the bottom right.

Produce Labels - This allows you to either print Labels for your External Carrier and / or Generate the Manifest for the External Carrier.
