This form is usually populated as a one time update from the original sales order which came from Vision Warehousing. You can however use this to manually enter products or lines on a Distribution entered delivery (Type = DE)

it provides you as much information which is needing to be sent to work out the calculation for charging along with providing you with delivery note and information for ePOD, it is also used when items are being returned from a delivery.

Field Values

Most are self explanatory and are based on the VW information with the exception of :

Discount/Surcharge %

This figure comes from the Vision WMS system and is used when calculating the line invoice case value.

e.g. you send a case of 6 single items but your normal charge is based on 12, you provide a 50% discount therefore this is calculated as a 0.5 Invoice case (ICASE) charge whilst it is also calculated as a 1 physical case (1 PCASE)

The charge is calculated as follows

If the product on Vision WMS has a specific discount / surcharge then this is used and we go no further, if not then step 2
Check the product group on Vision WMS for the product and check for a discount/surcharge for this group if there is not a charge then do nothing further but where there is a charge then step 3
Check whether this product on Vision WMS has the marker set “Do not apply discount” if it is set then do nothing if it is not set then apply the Product Group discount/surcharge

ICase / IPlt

This is the calculated Invoice Case or Invoice Pallet for the line, and is based on the charging methodology for the customer and takes into account the items on the order along with the discoutn/surcharge % field.

DCase / DSgl

This comes from the delivery confirmation whether this takes place on ePOd or manually through the Distribution interface, it is also what the delivery charge will be based on

ProbCode

If there is an issue with the line during the delivery then a problem code may be present in the line information this is normal when the orders quantity and delivered quantity differ.

Locator

If you are utilizing the depot picking option as part of the Vision Warehousing Bulk Pick → VDistribution RePick process, a locator will be displayed alongside the line. This locator typically consists of the site code followed by a unique reference assigned by the site for the pallet associated with this order line.

In situations where space is limited at the originating site, you can perform a bulk pick for this delivery depot and subsequently ship to the depot, ensuring that all pallets are marked with a pallet locator. Upon arrival of the shipment, you can take advantage of the printing facility to generate a load manifest along with a picking list for each order. This allows you to efficiently compile the necessary items for delivery.
