Delivery note - go green

Improvement

Changes to ePOD to show that the customer has chosen to 'go green' and that a delivery note copy should not be given to them (that they'll receive it via email instead).

Manifest - drop order changing

After downloading a manifest and confirming departure, drivers can now change the drop order on the device only, ETAs are subsequently recalculated. 

SMS / Email Messages to DP

Issue

Confirmation of your delivery email -  “From” was showing a postcode instead of a company , Doc Ref  should also say (Your suppliers order no) & Your Delivery description has been modified.

Photo image quality

Issue

Compression of images uploaded from ePOD and stored in VD for output on the electronic POD PDF has now been changed to improve the image quality, images will now be reduced to ~1MB

Customers need to request to change this if required.

Delivery notification SMS -
confusing ETAs

Issue

An issue was noticed where two consecutive SMS messages sent to the same drop point in short succession for the same delivery "Delivery has been delayed and our new estimate for delivery is..." but the earlier message sent had a later ETA than the first and no delays were uploaded.

Changes made to the app to make it easier for drivers to see how late they are running, delay buttons have been replaced by a single delay button where the driver can delay by 15 minutes and up to 6 hours, this can only be used once every 15 minutes to make the server side ETA recalculation process simpler.

Confirm delivery - signature option

Devices running Android 13 were unable to confirm a delivery using the signature option.
