VEDI-1044 | Email monitor - authentication method | Issue | Microsoft is disabling Basic Authentication in Exchange Online on 1st October 2022. The Email Monitor Service (which imports attachments from incoming emails to pass through to Vision EDI) has now been enhanced to be able to use Microsoft’s newer authentication protocols so the service now supports either POP3 (with an alternate provider) or a Microsoft mailbox (either a work account hosted in Microsoft 365 or a “personal” account hosted in Outlook.com).
