Installation, Registration & User setup
This section will explain how to install Vision Flex on your device and if this is the first time you’re using the Flex app on your device, here you can learn how to register your device in the WMS system. Then you can learn how to set up a Flex User.
Install Vision Flex
Open your Device’s Play Store and search “Vision Flex” or use this URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vision.visionflex
Download the app and install it on your device.
Registering your device
Find the application icon on your android device.
Press the application icon to open it.
3. On the bottom left of the screen press the configuration button.
4. Take note of the Device ID.
This ID in the device will be needed for entry into the WMS system.
User Maintenance in WMS
In Vision Warehousing, open Admin > User Management > 'Flex Devices'
Give the device a name, perhaps an asset tag number visible on the device, or the name of the user (only if it's dedicated to a single user).
Enter that 'Device ID' from above.
Tick the 'Active' box.
Tick 'Voice-Enabled' if users are allowed to use the Flex Voice features on this device (a headset with speaker and microphone are highly recommended).
Click Save.
Your device is now ready to be used.
Set up a Flex user
To create a user the Admin needs to go to the User/Group Maintenance window.
Click the Flex User Maintenance tab.
You may see a list of current users of Flex.
Add the UID, User Full Name, and Password.
Select what functions should be enabled for this user.
Tick the Active? checkbox to make the account active then save the changes.
