Data Relationships
This contains a brief overview of how data is related to each other.
Customers

Contract Price List | ||
 Delivery Points |
Customer is the invoicing point for your customer
Each customer only appears one time in the entire customer table. (so their code is unique)
Delivery Points (Ship to Addresses)
This is where you send the goods to.
Are delivery points where you would ship goods to.
You can have many of these for a single customer.
Each delivery point has to have a unique DP Code
You have to tell us in the first field which CUSTOMER each delivery point belongs to.
You do not need a delivery point if you invoice and delivery to the same address
Contacts
Your customer could have several contacts that you want to store
Each customer can have up to 32000 contacts.
When importing the first field is the customer account code to identify which customer this contact belongs to.
When you are working you can specify that a contact receives invoices so you can send those to several contacts
Each contact can belong to a mailing list.
Each contact has a contact record so you can see when you spoke to a customer and to whom you spoke to.
Price Lists
Whether we import price lists or you enter them manually after we hand over the system, you can define that a customer will use a specific price list.
We need that price list name and we will generate a dummy price list waiting for prices to be imported for each unique name we find in the list.
This is a dashed line, you do NOT have to have any price list.

Suppliers | are needed for | PRODUCTS |

Producers |
Producer
A producer is needed for each product, this is generally who produces it or manufactures the product.
Supplier
This is who you are raising the purchase order for to purchase a product, this is not always the same as the producer, in most cases you would buy a product through a wholesales or importer and not directly from the manufacturer.
Products
These require producers to be stored, which are manufacturers of the products, it is for the sales documentation more than anything and these do not control who you are buying the goods from.
