Service Level Codes

Service Level Codes were designed to adjust the delivery service being offere to the customer, whilst the main postal lookup defines a delivery area it may be that the customer wants a delivery costing less and is prepared to wait for a short time for that to take place, so this adjusts the picking and delivery dates for the delivery around the service level required for the delivery point.

e.g. Is you specify a 48 delivery when it is normally 24 then the delivery date and SLA is pushed out to accomodate.

This is mainly for the reporting OTIF report available in the report section.

Where customers also ask for a Same Day delivery then this will allow you to add this service and charge additionally for that delivery without the need to manually add delivery sundry charges for this.

This is available within the depot and route planning screens.

To Add new or Edit existing Service Level Codes, the User Group your login account belongs to will have to have the Service Level Codes checked.
