Pull notifications - slow

Issue

An issue was observed where pulling notifications was becoming increasingly slower on systems with several thousand declarations, which is now resolved.

CDS - HMRC status

Issue

As some customer systems have declarations held at a different status to that on HMRC's system, a button has been added to show a declaration's current status at HMRC, this is using one of HMRC's new beta services which is likely to change going forward so be aware that if it is changed then it could break this new functionality.

This allows users (if customs system has cleared the declaration) to force clear the declaration in Bond.

CDS - retry pull

Issue

Using the retry pull could leave declarations at an invalid status.

Going forward, the button should only be used for declarations submitted using this Bond version or above.

CDS - importer ID for private customers

Issue

Private customers have no EORI as such the Importer ID is left empty when a CDS declaration is created.  HMRC instruction for the field is:

Identification number of the party who makes, or on whose behalf an import declaration is made.

The EORI number referred to in Article 1(18) of the person concerned. Where the importer does not have an EORI number, the customs administration may assign him an ad hoc number for the declaration concerned.

As such the field is now defaulted with the site EORI if the customer doesn't have one.

Day end surcharge invoice - previous years

Bug

If a day end number is allocated to the same deferment over multiple years it could cause an issue with the deferment surcharge invoices.
