Creating & cancelling declarations

Transactions
Transactions flow from the Warehouse system to Bond on a regular basis throughout the day, you can access these transactions from the navigation pane ‘Transaction’ search on the right side of the screen.
These accumulate until you’re ready to work with them.
Import transactions to CDS
Open ‘CDS Data Interchange’ from the ‘Processing’ menu, the screen shows all declarations waiting to be submitted to customs so this will normally be empty.
To import the transactions into the screen, click the ‘Import’ button in the top right of the screen.
CDS declarations are created and are available in the CDS screen as well as in the right side ‘Navigation Pane’.
Declarations can be viewed prior to submission. Amendments can also be made although this shouldn’t be necessary, records can also be cancelled.

Cancelling declarations
The ‘Cancel’ button can be used to cancel a declaration but if it’s already been sent to customs then you must do this before the declaration reaches CLEARED status.
